Today I am speaking at The Arborgate in Tomball, TX and the road trip down here from Tyler, TX gave Rebecca and me an opportunity to swing by one of our growing locations for Crinum ‘Mrs. James Hendry.’  There were some hardy clumps, so I divided some and shot a short video.  I am putting our large bulbs online today in a newsletter, and you may order them here: purchase Crinum ‘Mrs. James Hendry.’

This has long been one of our favorite Crinum flowers. They are almost unmatched in their bloom habit by other crinum, and we often see them blooming 4 to 6 times from spring until fall, especially in Central Texas down to the coast.  They are a little slower to leaf out after a cold winter for us in Tyler, or in Dallas, but we still get a great show when it warms up.  Enjoy the pics of this very special bulb!
