Ladies, I had no idea that Brenham was such a great window shopping, antique finding, cute downtown type of stop! On our way to San Antonio yesterday, we had to make a bulb delivery in the Brenham area. Because our family had one purpose in mind for making a stop in this area, Blue Bell Ice Cream, consequently, up until now, I had missed out on all of the shopping possibilities in the downtown area.
We squeezed in a small tour of the oldest family owned and operated furniture store in Texas. If you haven’t made a day trip to Brenham lately, find a day and make it happen!
My little brothers’ grilled cheese sandwich at the Must Be Heaven café in Brenham was served in this awesome paper 1956 Thunderbird yesterday. I recycled it, picked up a yummy raspberry cupcake in Austin, and gave it to Bethanie as a birthday present. Happy 30th birthday, dear friend!

Thank you again!!!
That was the best cupcake ever! what was the name of that bakery again? The icing was realllly thick, not like that wimpy, barely there icing that many shops use.
Quacks on the north side of Austin! Happy Birthday again.
We sometimes make a quick trip to Brenham just to go to Must Be Heaven. The cocnut pie is amazing!!!
Sorry, that is coconut pie…..
Hey Tammy! We’ll have to sample the coconut pie next trip down there. Hope you all are well!
Quacks.. how funny! okay, thanks! I’ve really never been able to stop thinking about that frosting!
