Chihuahua dog is always happy to see me come home. As mentioned before, he has this bad habit of jumping in ours as well as our guests’ cars! Watch him playing a game with me here in this YOU TUBE VIDEO.
I was on the farm this morning, shipping out orders, and was delighted to see some of our white rain lilies (Zephyranthes labufarosea) springing back to life! I took a picture with my phone, and kicked myself for forgetting my real camera, but I’ll try to take a picture this afternoon. I just hope the heat hasn’t destroyed the blooms.
There is actually a lot blooming around the state right now. A couple years ago about this time I headed down to Wildseed Farms in Fredericksburg and was amazed at their fields of wildflowers. I hope to have the same with bulbs some day on the farm, but I’ll have to be doing a little less traveling when that moment rolls around.
